📌 Essential Criteria:
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
✅ Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in a large acute/tertiary hospital with at least 250+ beds.
✅ At least 1 year of experience in one of the following roles:
PICU Nurse: Experience in 1:1 nursing care of critically ill children.
NICU Nurse: Experience in 1:1 nursing care of critically ill infants plus prior experience in PICU or acute paediatric nursing.
✅ At least 4 years of experience in acute paediatrics, including areas such as:
Emergency Department (ED)
High Dependency Unit (HDU)
Acute medical or surgical paediatric unit
Experience must be in a large acute/tertiary hospital.
✅ Competence, confidence, and commitment to work as a paediatric homecare nurse, providing high-quality, specialized care in a home setting.
⭐ Desirable Criteria (Preferred but Not Mandatory):
🔹 Overseas experience working in a PICU or NICU in a large acute/tertiary hospital.
🔹 Previous experience in Adult ICU or HDU, showcasing versatility and advanced critical care skills.
🔹 Experience as a homecare nurse, demonstrating the ability to provide independent and compassionate care outside a hospital setting.
💰 Salary & Compensation:
💵 Competitive salary range of €38,258.38 – €47,334.57 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
