📚 Educational Requirements:

To qualify, candidates must have a minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant field that meets CORU registration criteria. Accepted qualifications include:

✅ Master’s Degrees:

Master of Arts in Social Work

Master of Social Science (Social Work)

Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work Studies

✅ Bachelor’s Degrees:

Bachelor of Social Work

Bachelor of Social Studies

✅ Other Relevant Qualifications:


Level 8 in Psychology

Level 7 in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, Counselling/Psychotherapy, Addiction Counselling, Youth and Community Work, Social Sciences, Disability Studies, Early Years Care (for U12 centres), Policing, Teaching, and Nursing


🚗 Other Requirements:

Full, clean manual driving license valid in Ireland

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Strong teamwork abilities 🤝

Familiarity with Irish National Standards in Children’s Residential Centers

Experience working with teenagers displaying challenging behavior


💰 Salary & Benefits:

💵 Competitive Salary: €36,000 - €38,968 (including full hourly rate for overnights)

📅 Flexible Work Schedule: 48-hour workweek with paid breaks (3x16-hour shifts or 2x24-hour shifts per week)

🏖 Annual Leave: 31 days (including bank holidays) – calculated in hours (287 hours per year)
